Title: twisted pair interconnection Post by silentgun on Feb 25th, 2008, 7:21pm hi, all :) I recently read a paper which mentioned that twisted pair interconnection can reduce metal line coupling does anybody know what a twist pair interconnection layout is like? thank very much |
Title: Re: twisted pair interconnection Post by neoflash on Mar 4th, 2008, 6:08am If u route very long differential trace pairs, these two lines will suffer different coupling since they face difference neighbors. Twisted pair means these two traces exchange their positions periodically, to make their "neighbor" looks as much like as possible. -------------\/---------------------- ------------ / \--------------------- |
