Title: Monte Carlo Model Selection Post by rajath on Feb 26th, 2008, 1:09am Hi all, I plan to run a monte carlo analysis on a circuit for mismatch, and when I checked the model files, there seem to be two sections I can choose from: mc and stat. What exactly is the difference between these two models? Appreciate any help! regards, rajath |
Title: Re: Monte Carlo Model Selection Post by bernd on Feb 26th, 2008, 6:31am The stat section 'statisics block' specifies the statistical distribution, process variation. It defines which parameter and how should be varied through a Monte Carlo simulation. The mc section then should include the transistor model with the parameters to vary. Best is to check yourself your model file. Bernd |
