Title: LO integrated noise
Post by chenyan on Apr 2nd, 2008, 7:08am

In literatures, integrated noise is related to EVM and phase error. But what is the lower limit and high limit of this integration?
In Dean's book, it is said that for GSM, the lower limit is the frame rate and high limit channel spacing. But then what about in WCDMA, where there is no frame rate?

Cheers

As measurement condition of EVM, symbol length are defined.
I don't remember exact symbol length of 3GPP(WCDMA),  maybe 511symbols or 1023symbols.
I had wireless specification sheets of 3GPP, but it was long long ago.
So I can't find spec. sheets immediately.

So lower frequency have to cover this symbol length enoughly.
