Title: Temperature compensation
Post by Ghitani on Apr 17th, 2008, 5:49pm

Hi everybody,

Can anyone suggest me ideas for temperature compensation in ring ICO i.e. making tuning C/Cs less
sensetive to temperature variations?

Thanks,

Ghitani

Should your ring-ICO need a bias current you could use a PTAT current.
I some cases this helps to reduce the temperature variations (depending on
the implementation of the ICO).

Cheers

Thanks for your reply.
Regarding architecture, I used replica bias ICO with a differential delay cell of triode load (similar to Razavi's).

Is the PTAT current is the only solution?

Thanks,
Ghitani
