Title: how to stop a transition filter in verilogA? Post by liuqian0428 on May 13th, 2008, 1:10am Hi, every one. I want to genrate some simulation stimulus in VerilogA. one of the pin is inout, so this pin must floating when it is a output. I use the transition filter to pass the value to the pin, but I don't know how to stop the transition filter when I need? Thank you so much! |

Post by jbdavid on Oct 9th, 2008, 6:32pm In analog changing the network connections on the fly can lead to simulation convergence issues.. you might rather stick a resistor in series with the driver and change the resistors value depending on the drive state.. bmslib (see my other recent answer today) contains and example switch sw_no which is proabably the best way to define such a variable resistor.. since the ratio of ron to roff is really high.. |
