Hi,

I have a question regarding dc biasing for RF circuits operating at 1-20 GHz. I am limited to use inductors and capacitors not larger than 10nH and 10pF respectively due to component size constraints. For my circuit (double balanced mixer with two single-ended to differential converters for the RF and LO signals) this means that I really cannot use RF choke as a 10nH inductor doesn't offer high enough impedance. ALso, for my application I need to use low-frequency LO (~ 100 MHz), which means that the dc blocking cap presents high impedance for the LO signal. Do you have any suggestions as to how I can circumvent this problem?

Can you use resistors...?
