Title: question: any noise model in HSPICE simulation?
Post by hzfeiyun on Jul 16th, 2008, 7:26pm

Generally, is there any noise model included for HSPICE transient simulation?

Acctually, I am doing a random seed generator design and looking for some method to evaluate the performance during simulation stage.

Thx.
:)

Generally, there are no noise models included in transient simulation in any simulator, but there are a couple (Eldo, Spectre, ... others?) that have "transient noise" which is an option to include it.

try the latest version of hspice software, hspice 2008.03.
maybe you can find the useful hints in its application notes
