Title: Back-annotate Calibre paracitics extraction to schematic Post by ssm on Dec 10th, 2008, 4:15pm Hello, everyone: I am wondering what is the difference between direct paracitics simulation & back-annotated simulation ? And how to back-annotate onto cadence schematic from Calibre paracitics extraction ? Absolutely in analog domain, please. Best. DK |

I guess the direct parasitics simulation is simulation with the extracted netlist with all parasitics, the back-annotated simulation is simulation with a schematic which includes an extracted netlist and the all the parasitics. Right? I think the above two simulation would have the same result because the circuit topology and parasitics have no descrepancy. |
