hi,
   please post the circuit schematic or rough ckt which was in your mind,because there are so many comparator architectures.,
Lets say you are using any preamplifier in front of your comparator then 1.decrease the overdrive of the differential pair 2.increase the sizes of the differential pair  3.try to bias the stage with less bias current. 4.Try to minimize the gm of the diode connected load pmos (if any)

This is the course website of ADC course from berkeley. Lecture 20 is all about comparator design and has lots of methods for offset cancellation/reduction. I recommend you watch the lecture video too
