Title: How to set the properties of the ideal adc modle in Cadence?

want to simulate the performance of the ideal adc using the adc_8bit_ideal model in the Cadence tools shown in Fig 1,
but I had trouble to get correct output, can anyone give me some suggestion. Basically I gave Vpulse (1M) as clk, and Vsin(1V) as input, I set the reference voltage as 1V, I ran a transient simulation and all ADC output is zero, can anyone give me some suggestions?

You didn't include "Fig 1" so hard to know how you've connected things up.
