Title: bmslib in cadence university suite
Post by cmos.analogvala on May 22nd, 2009, 11:35pm

We do not have "bmslib" library with the present cadence icfb(IC5141) tool set. I think bmslib is a powerful lirary  for measurements  similar to analogLib for sources and basic components ?
We have cadence university package with us.
The questions are:
Is my understanding about cadence bmslib correct ?
How to get bmslib in cadence university package ?

Please reply
Thanks

Really? It's installed whenever spectre is installed as part of the IC5141 products (product 32500, 32520 or 90001). So I'd be very surprised if its not there.

It should be in <ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/samples/artist/bmslib

Regards,

Andrew.

Which library to use depends on what model you want! These are sample model libraries, the idea is you can take your pick. You can use both if you like, or copy models from either library into your own, and modify them.
