Title: Recommend ESD book please Post by joel on Jun 17th, 2009, 12:47pm I'd like to add a book to my personal library that covers ESD design, modeling, & characterization for high-speed CMOS I/O and power-supply. Can you give me a recommendation? On amazon, I find ESD Protection Device and Circuit Design for Advanced CMOS Technologies Semenov Sarbehsaei Sachdev 2008, and ESD: Circuits and Devices Voldman 2006. Is either of these perfered? thx, /jd |
Title: Re: Recommend ESD book please Post by loose-electron on Jun 20th, 2009, 12:48pm I have "Basic ED and I/O design" by Dabral and Maloney Wiley Inerscience Press, 1998, ISBN 0-471-25359-6 Not too bad, its a bit more practical than the books that want to delve into the subtle issues of device physics. |
Title: Re: Recommend ESD book please Post by joel on Jun 21st, 2009, 8:14pm Thanks, practical is important for me. Does it describe low-capacitance techniques for SerDes, protecting thin-oxide? How that's done is a mystery to me, and I need to figure it out ASAP. Cheers! /jd |
Title: Re: Recommend ESD book please Post by shashi.kiran on Jul 9th, 2009, 4:14am Basic esd and io design talk abu circuit design with esd ...it dosent talk abu device physics much ...i guess ESD circuits and devices -voldman it the best book on ESD. |
Title: Re: Recommend ESD book please Post by Mooraka on Nov 13th, 2009, 8:39pm I think "ESD in Silicon Integrated Circuits" by E. Ajith Amerasekera and Charvaka Duvvury is also a good book. Ram |
