Title: convert rflib osc cell to VerilogA
Post by Ian on Jul 29th, 2009, 1:25am

Dear All,

The oscillator in rflib (i.e., 'osc' cell)  is implemented in SpectreHDL, and it's not supported by the latest MMSIM. I'm now trying to convert it into VerilogA, and need your help in doing this.

My first question here is what's the equivalent of  "node [V, I] out;" in VerilogA? Thanks.

Best Regards,
Ian

A VerilogA version of "osc" is included in IC5141 from IC5141 USR5 onwards. It's also in all IC61 versions. I won't post it here (I'm not allowed to, as it's part of the Cadence software), but if you use a recent enough version you'll be able to get it yourself.

The answer to your "first question" is:

electrical out;

Regards,

Andrew.
