Title: LiIon Battery Characteristics Post by ic_engr on Sep 3rd, 2009, 10:08am Hello All, I am trying to obtain information on LiIon battery characteristics. More specifically: 1. What is the healthy voltage range ? 2. What is the lowest Voltage below which there is effectively no life left in the battery. 3. What can be assumed to be the safe turn on voltage ? 4. Battery impedance relation to charge. I need this information and more to design a POR for supporting LiIon batteries. If anyone can provide such information will be greatly appreciated. ic_engr |
Title: Re: LiIon Battery Characteristics Post by loose-electron on Sep 5th, 2009, 11:48am 4.3V peak, 2.7V minimum for single cell LI-Ion the other questions are unique to the particular battery - time to do some research and read both battery specifications and specs for battery controllers. Look at the INtersil battery product line for chip specs, as a starting point. |
