Hi all,

it seems we need an SNR of at least 14 dB (including the 9 dB processing gain) for the IEEE 802.15.4 standard, while most papers i've read claim we only need aroud 0 dB (examples below). The difference appears to be that the paper above included delay spread in the channel whereas i'm not sure if the ones below did. Can anybody confirm which requirement is more relavant? I'm inclined to believe 14 dB since its stricter and also delay spread is clearly considered.
