Title: Information on Microwave Transition design
Post by avins on Feb 8th, 2010, 10:49pm

Hello,

I am doing work on Microwave transitions; I need help in preparing my thesis report which is titled “Stripline to Microstrip transition using Multilayer boards”. This is a NASA technical paper. You can Google this to know more. I would also like why there is so less information available about transitions, So far, I know, only one book “Microwave Transition Design by Izadian”, this is the only book which deals with transitions very thoroughly and gives sufficient mathematical report. I am in India and my library does not have this book, Also the book is itself very costly and we don’t have any Indian edition, Can anyone suggest whether there is any alternative to this book ? Is there is no alternative available, Can anyone suggest me whether this book is available in any library in Bangalore? Is it also possible for anyone to upload their project report?

Regards,
Avinash

Don't do multiple post of same contents.

This is basically proximity feed array antenna or back feed array antenna which are fairly classical and already established theme in microwave or antenna society.

Classically and actually this problem was analyzed extensively by full-wave analysis based on moment method in ancient days.

Search technical papers of IEEE Microwave Theory Technique or IEEE Antenna&Propagation over 1980~1992.
You can find out many many papers on this topics.

Also see papers and books by "David. M. Pozar" who are very famous professor in this field.
