Title: Moscap Post by siddhartha .k on Feb 9th, 2010, 3:46am Hi.. What is advantage using Nmoscap in Nwell why not use Nmoscap in Pwell |
Title: Re: Moscap Post by Berti on Feb 9th, 2010, 4:28am Weird question .. I think the "Nmoscap in Nwell" you are referring to is an accumulation mode capacitor! Regards |
Title: Re: Moscap Post by Mooraka on Feb 9th, 2010, 2:20pm I think NCAP - PMOS FET with P+ S/D replaced with N+ diffusion, PCAP - NMOS FET with N+ S/D replaced with P+ diffusion. NCAP is in DNW/Nwell and PCAP is in Pwell/Psub. Do you mean what is the advantage of MOS cap over MOS FET as cap? Thanks |
Title: Re: Moscap Post by raja.cedt on Feb 9th, 2010, 8:38pm hi, your cap varies monotonically with voltage, where as in case of nmos in pwell will give non-monotonic plot. Thanks, Rajasekhar. |
Title: Re: Moscap Post by siddhartha .k on Feb 10th, 2010, 8:11am Hi Thanks to all what is the advantage of MOS cap over MOS FET as cap? & what is the reson NMOScap body is a Nwell instead of Psubstrat . Thanks, siddhartha.k |
