Hi.. What is advantage using  Nmoscap in Nwell why not use Nmoscap in Pwell

Weird question .. I think the "Nmoscap in Nwell" you are referring to is an accumulation mode capacitor!

I think NCAP - PMOS FET with P+ S/D replaced with N+ diffusion, PCAP - NMOS FET with N+ S/D replaced with P+ diffusion.

NCAP is in DNW/Nwell and PCAP is in Pwell/Psub.

Do you mean what is the advantage of MOS cap over MOS FET as cap?

Thanks

hi,
your cap varies monotonically with voltage, where as in case of nmos in pwell will give non-monotonic plot.

Thanks,
Rajasekhar.

Hi Thanks to all

what is the advantage of MOS cap over MOS FET as cap?
& what is the reson   NMOScap  body is a Nwell instead of Psubstrat .

Thanks,
