Hi Guys
I am interesting in a simple verilogA mosfet model like level 1or 2. It looks like the level 3 is a little too complicated in the code. Can anyone share their level 1 and 2 verilogA code, I will greatly appreciate it.

If you have the Cadence IC tools, then there is a cell "mos_level1" in ahdlLib. ahdlLib can be found at:

<ICinstDir>/tools/dfII/samples/artist/ahdlLib

thanks, it looks ok. However, is there a model include the capacitor effect? like level 2 model?

I would have said that level=1 has some capacitance, but it's not in the verilog-a code Andrew mentioned (well, OK, there's diode depletion capacitance, but no channel charge equations). My sense, though, is that the capacitance equations in levels 1 and 3 are very close, if not the same, and you thought the level 3 equations were too complicated.

It looks like my machine can not compile level 3 correctly. Is there other level 3 mosfet code?

Did you download the updated mos3 code that Marek posted in your other thread?

Did you use the correct command to include it in your netlist?

Have you tried including the mos level 1 code to be sure you can get Verilog-A code in your netlist?

What error messages are you getting now?

I'm not aware of other mos3 code that's easily available.
