Title: MOSFET LEVEL 1&2 verilogA model help! Post by liletian on Mar 21st, 2010, 11:50am Hi Guys I am interesting in a simple verilogA mosfet model like level 1or 2. It looks like the level 3 is a little too complicated in the code. Can anyone share their level 1 and 2 verilogA code, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you, B |

Title: Re: MOSFET LEVEL 1&2 verilogA model help! Post by liletian on Mar 22nd, 2010, 10:33am thanks, it looks ok. However, is there a model include the capacitor effect? like level 2 model? thank you Andrew Beckett wrote on Mar 22nd, 2010, 8:15am:

I would have said that level=1 has some capacitance, but it's not in the verilog-a code Andrew mentioned (well, OK, there's diode depletion capacitance, but no channel charge equations). My sense, though, is that the capacitance equations in levels 1 and 3 are very close, if not the same, and you thought the level 3 equations were too complicated. |

Did you download the updated mos3 code that Marek posted in your other thread? http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1268789424#13 Did you use the correct command to include it in your netlist? Have you tried including the mos level 1 code to be sure you can get Verilog-A code in your netlist? What error messages are you getting now? I'm not aware of other mos3 code that's easily available. |
