Dear all,
               Why 55nm technology  is calld fullnode ..then what about half node..

Incorrect..65nm is full node. The next full node is 1/sqrt(2) * 65nm=45nm

where the parlance "technology node" comes from is something I am not aware of -

why the divide by sqrt(2) constitutes a "node" I would be curious.

This to me is more techno-geek slang than anything else.
