Title: how to give a complex source impedance in port or p1_tone? Post by liletian on May 7th, 2010, 8:32am Hi Guys Is there a way to give a complext source impedance in the port or p1_tone? I try to give 100+50j in the p1_tone. Even the software can run, it shows the following warning which I am not sure if the result is reliable or not. Warning detected by hpeesofsim during netlist parsing. Unrecognizable scale factor `j' ignored any comments? thank you |
Title: Re: how to give a complex source impedance in port or p1_tone? Post by pancho_hideboo on May 7th, 2010, 8:46am I can't find out any design issue in your post again. Your question is no more than very easy usage of specific vendor's tool. I couldn't find out any design issue in http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1248361147 Your descriptions are always very poor. What do you mean by "p1_tone" ? Use captal letter and small letter correctly. Almost all simulator are case sensitive. The followings are general notes for you. - Always describe correct tool's name and vendor's name which you use as tool or simulator. - Don't do multiple posts which are same content. - Don't request source code or behavioral model without any efforts. - There are many simulators which have analyses called as PSS, PAC and Pnoise. - Describe in detail with using correct terminologies. - Warnigns are different from Errors. - ADS is not name of simulator. - There is no tool which name is Cadence. - Don't use Direct Plot of Cadence ADE blindly without knowing definition. - All gains in Direct Plot of Cadence ADE are "right", "true" and "practical" voltage gain. - Don't mix up Simulation with Post Processing. They are completely different phase. - MATLAB are different from Simulink. - Learn measurements using actual instruments. Not "EDA Tool Play |
