Hi,

I think you should phrase your question better. Also, you probably shouldn't post copyrighted papers on this website.

I am simulating multiband LNA using active inductor for wimax applications (2.6GHz,3.6GHz,5.5GHz)..in that i am using simple active inductor topology using feedback resitor(Rf), here  tuning can be done for different values of Rf. If Rf increases results high quality factor also inductance increases but at the same time resonant frequency decreases. So that  I am unable to get higher frequency 5.5GHz by tuning this active inductor. But some published papers i have seen that they obtained higher frequency also with same active indcutor...
Can anyone tel me how it is possible to obtain higher frequency by tuning  active inductor.

Thanks
saam

How is the linearity and NF performance with the active inductor?

Active inductors (as a circuit topic) are cool, but they badly degrade dynamic range (typically).
