Hi,
I want to run simulation through command prompt in spectre. Please, let me know what is command to create netlist from schematic circuit. I forgot it and try to look in to user manual but, I didnt find it. Please, explain me how i can run simulation without use of ADE ?

You help would be appreciated.

Analog_design,

You will need to use ADE to create the netlist, or create it manually.
To create a netlist in ADE, select
Simulation --> Netlist --> Create or Recreate.
Once you have the netlist you can simulate with Spectre from the
command line so you can simulate without ADE.

Analog_design,

you can also use ADE to create OCEAN script for netlisting.

Thank you very much for your reply. I would like to simulate without use of ADE. i know the command to simulate i.e spectre xxx.scs but, I do not know the procedure to create netlist of circuit.

Please, let me know the steps irrespective of use of ADE.

Analog-design,

You can simulate without the environment as described, using the
spectre command. However, netlisting is not simulation, netlisting is
part of the environment. Your options for netlisting are either interactive, ADE, batch mode, OCEAN, or manually creating the netlist.

As already stated, you could use an OCEAN script (assuming you have your design as a Cadence schematic). I am too busy to write code that I can have generated, so I always use ADE once to create an OCEAN script template for netlisting, which I modify as needed.
