Title: data sampler vs edge sampler Post by casual on May 15th, 2011, 12:25am what are the differences between them and their pros and cons? |
Title: Re: data sampler vs edge sampler Post by loose-electron on May 16th, 2011, 5:43pm there are a bunch of different detection methods out there, depending on how degenrated your signal gets in the transmission medium. Can you be more specific with the question? |
Title: Re: data sampler vs edge sampler Post by casual on May 17th, 2011, 6:03am data sampler and edge sampler are the sense-amp based regeneration flip-flops. Interested to know what are the differences between them. Want to use it at the high-speed IO. |
Title: Re: data sampler vs edge sampler Post by Chhotu on Jul 6th, 2011, 4:38am Basically, there are no difference between Data and edge samples as far as design is concerned . Only , data sampler is clocked with data clock (q clock) and edge sampler is clocked with edge clock (i clock). -Chhotu |
