Hi
how can cadence IC 6 ADE LX simulate different parametric sweep in parallel?

by glopal parameters?

Thanks

Select Global Variables in Data View tab after opening adexl. Type in the numbers for the swept parameter, separated by space.  For example,

par_vdd  2.25 2.5 2.75

Then click the green run button.

Thanks ywguo, i know this method but how to make them runing in parallel on different processor?

You need to use a queue system, for example LSF or SGE. Then you use the "distributed" option under the "Job options" menu.

Hi Falcon,

If you want to distribute those jobs on multi processors in one computer with IC 6 ADE-XL, it is not so complex for you to use a queue system like LSF or SGE.

Click adexl tab, choose Options --> Job Setup .... A form named Job Policy Setup pops up. The default value for Distribution Method is Local, which means all jobs run on multi-processors in one computer in the same time. The default value for Max. Jobs is 1, please increase the number so that all your jobs start to run immediately. Be careful to ask your administrator how many processors that computer has.

Best Regards,
Yawei
