Title: Preamplifier noise specifications Post by nishanth on Jul 19th, 2011, 11:31pm Hai, I want to calculate the following two quantities for my preamplifier with cadence tool. Can anybody give me the procedure? 1. Total input referred noise voltage Power Spectral Density @1Hz & @100Hz. 2. Total input referred r.m.s noise voltage (1 Hz - 100 Hz) Suggest me acceptable range of the above two quantities for low noise low power applications Thanks in advance, Nishanth P.V |
Title: Re: Preamplifier noise specifications Post by ywguo on Aug 13th, 2011, 6:45pm If you had run noise analysis in ADE, the input referred noise power spectral density is there. Then integrate the power spectral density from 1 Hz to 100 Hz, you get the total input referred r.m.s noise voltage (1 Hz - 100 Hz) At last, I don't know what is acceptable range. You should ask your customer if you have, otherwise ask who is in charge of the project. Yawei |
