Title: Re: .lin analyze Post by spiceoracle on Nov 2nd, 2011, 9:08am The HSPICE .LIN analysis is a linear network analysis. It is used to calculate noise and small-signal transfer parameters (i.e. S-parameters) between the terminals of a network. The network terminals are identified by using the port element. |

Title: Re: .lin analyze Post by haykp on Nov 2nd, 2011, 10:40pm Thanks Spiceoracle. And how to know what is s-parameter? |

Title: Re: .lin analyze Post by spiceoracle on Nov 3rd, 2011, 9:40am S-parameters are commonly used by RF and analog engineers to describe network characteristics. Here is a link to one of the best application notes that I know of to explain what S-parameters are and how they are used. http://www.hpmemory.org/an/pdf/an_95-1.pdf |
