Title: How to plot gmn+gmp in cadence using calculator? Post by Larry_80 on May 3rd, 2012, 5:57pm So i am trying to plot gmn (transconductance of NMOS) + gmp (transconductance of PMOS) vs Vin. I was able to save gmn and gmp for eacd DC operating points, then i plot the result of gmn and gmp. But when i try to use the calculator to plot expression (gmn + gmp), the calculator seems unable to evaluate it. I am not sure if i am doing this correctly? |

Post by sheldon on May 5th, 2012, 9:03am Raja, Try opening the Results Browser, then selecting dcOpInfo for the desired device select the dc operating point parameter you would like and send it to the Calculator. Repeat for the opposite polarity device. Example: Results Browser: dcOpInfo --> NM0 --> gm, see selectgm.tif Also attached is an example of the plotting the sum of a pch and nch gm, see plots.tif Sheldon |
