Title: Jitter Measurement using eye diagram in cadence
Post by nadroit on May 28th, 2012, 4:00pm

Hello All,
I used Ken's Verilog-A code of VCO with jitter. I set jitter input to 10ps and ran transient simulation. Then I plotted eye diagram of output but I don't know hoe to measure jitter from eye diagram in cadence. Please help. I am using IC5.1

Thanks

Hi nadroit,

If you cannot access cadence online help, generate eye diagram of the VCO output and measure it with delta cursors.   :)

If you can access cadence online help, please have a look at solution # 11395772, 11018920, and 11564054. Or have a look at the following link.

BTW, I am not sure whether the solution in the above 3 solutions are all compatible with your product version, IC51.

Best Regards,
Yawei
