Title: use of spectre bjt models
Post by fab32 on Jul 13th, 2012, 7:26am

Hi,
I would like to ask a question about the simulation spectre models of btj.
Is it possible to make a simulation with two different bjt models of the same library?
I would like to use the old model ("file A.scs") for some transistors in the circuit and to use the new model ("model Anew.scs") for other transistors in the same circuit.
Thanks for the help.

I think this would be difficult, unless you changed the model names -- instead of "npn" make them "npn_new" in the library as well as the netlist.  Even then, I think probably some parameter names would appear in both libraries, and you'd have to deal with those collisions.

Ok, thanks a lot
