For a typical D1 & D2 ESD diode placement, is it advisable to be placed near to the pad/bump or near to high-speed Tx driver?

Hi Casual,

as far as I know ESD diodes are often placed directly underneath the pad. I assume you want the shortest path to ground. Not sure about your specific application though.
