Title: Double exponential current source Post by Annie on Sep 29th, 2012, 4:27am Is there any way to provide a double exponential current source in CADENCE IC5.1.4.1? I want to test the SEU tolerance by injecting current spike,no TCAD simulator available...any help? |
Title: Re: Double exponential current source Post by rfidea on Sep 29th, 2012, 4:59am Do you want to to something like i = exp(exp(K*time)) ? I think there is a "exp()" block in the ahdlLib. If you create a voltage slope, v = K*time with the vpulse from analogLib and then drive two series connected exp blocks from ahdlLib it will do the trick. |
Title: Re: Double exponential current source Post by Annie on Sep 30th, 2012, 2:17am Actually, I meant something like a spike with different rise and fall time like I(t)=A/(Tf-Tr){exp(-t/Tf)-exp(-t/Tr)}. Is it possible to do with Iexp in AnalogLib? |
