Title: the role of peaking capacitor Post by lhlbluesky_lhl on Mar 5th, 2013, 5:44am what is the role of a peaking capacitor in the circuit? just as the picture shows, Cp is a peaking capacitor, how can it influence the peaking behavior? in some paper, Cp = 3% of C1, is that right? how to choose the proper value of Cp? assuming that, in the following picture, C1=1nF, R1=10k. thanks. |
Title: Re: the role of peaking capacitor Post by raja.cedt on Mar 5th, 2013, 5:53am hello, whats your application, are you going to equalize some data or what? But here peaking capacitor is not doing any thing except reducing high frequency gain. Thanks, Raj. |
