Dear all,
Can any one tell me what are the way's to high-linear amplifier, Since i am working at high frequency i can't use any opamp based global Feedback, now the only one option would be a local feedback. Is there any way to to implement local feedback apart from emitter degeneration. I have emitter degen (~200mv drop or gm*R=6), i can't increase beyond this but i have to get some more linearity. Any kind of suggestion are help full..

I'm not sure what you are doing -- are you doing a bipolar open loop amplifier? You could look at Barry Gilbert's work in that area - things like translinear design.

You could try gm linearization techniques to improve the linearity.

Maybe harmonic cancellation techniques are interesting if you work at very high frequencies.

If you're working on CMOS I guess translinear design is out of the picture.
