their is an error when i installed cadence 6.1 on ubuntu , its Resource id: 0x4200011 Qt Warning: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 18 (X_ChangeProperty) Resource id: 0x4200011 Qt Warning: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 18 (X_ChangeProperty) Resource id: 0x4200011 Qt Warning: X Error: BadWindow (invalid Window parameter) 3 Major opcode: 20 (X_GetProperty) , any solution please

Ubuntu is not officially supported as an operating system platform by Cadence they rely on Red Hat and Suse enterprise releases.
My experience is that if you want to go with a free Linux and Cadence best choice is CentOS.
