Title: Experience with overdrive devices in 55nM? Post by SNIKE on Sep 7th, 2014, 3:54am Hi All, I am using 55nM TSMC process. The 55nM has two I/O devices. One is 2.5V device and another one is 3.3V device [2.5V over-drive]. Are those 3.3V devices good for analog design? For example can I design/tapeout a audio amplifier using them? I am worried because they are not natural 3.3V devices[ these have same gate oxide as 2.5V] but these are tweaked to handle more voltage. Does anyone have tapeout experience using these devices? Are there any discrepancies between Models and silicon performance? http://www.tsmc.com/english/dedicatedFoundry/technology/65nm.htm please check IO devices in LP . Thanks SNIKE. |
