Hello everyone,

I need your help with this problem. When my classmate was working on cadence Virtuoso, this error message appeared,

Error found by spectre during circuit read-in

"No circuit given"

spectre terminated prematurely due to fatal error.

The screen shot for this error message is attached.

what is going on? How can I fix this? :question

Have a look in your input.scs file. Is it really empty?

BTW it is never a good idea to run cadence tools as root. In fact, under linux it is basically NEVER a good idea to do anything else than system configuration as root.
