Title: s11 in receiver Post by baohulu on Aug 10th, 2015, 10:54pm hi all, in a receiver design, lna should be matched with the antenna, I want to know, in a design, how small s11 can be ? less than -20dB, -30dB, or ..... ? |
Title: Re: s11 in receiver Post by aaron_do on Sep 6th, 2015, 5:42pm At any one particular frequency, S11 can be very low (e.g -30 or -40), but over a bandwidth, usually -10 or so is considered acceptable as it means 90% or the power is transferred. regards Aaron |
