Title: 5G Carrier Frequency Post by niloun on Nov 19th, 2019, 3:43pm Hello everyone, Consider a 5G system, either a 5G mobile communication system or a v2x 5G communication system. How do we determine the intermediate frequency after the down-converter? Is it a fixed frequency or not? Is there any relationship between local frequency and carrier frequency? For example, I have read that for Bluetooth: "Intermediate frequency at the converter output is typically in the range from 1 MHz to 5 MHz. This frequency is according to carrier frequency in the GFSK modulator." I have done a lot of research but couldn't come up with any answers. Thank you in advance, Nilou |
