Title: How to use netlist in Analog Design Env.? Post by Aigneryu on Mar 21st, 2004, 7:14am I have a circuit with analog components in DFII format, verilog netlist, and some subblocks in Spectre netlist. Can I use all of them in schematic composer of the analog design environment(GUI)?? analog components in DFII and verilog subcircuits will be OK because I can create schematic view or verilog/behavioral view, But the components described in spectre netlist does not seem to be utilized as convenient as the two above. How can I create convenient cell views that can be easily used in GUI as schematic view directly from spectre netlists? Can somebody tell me which reference section of manual I should read?? |
Title: Re: How to use netlist in Analog Design Env.? Post by Andrew Beckett on Mar 21st, 2004, 12:45pm This is covered in the Analog Design Environment User Guide, Chapter 3 (I think), the one called "Design Variables and Simulation Files for Direct Simulation" (assuming you're using "spectre" rather than "spectreS"), in the section called "Referencing Textual Subcircuits or Models" Regards, Andrew. |
