Title: Cadence Spiral Inductor Modeler Post by saumi9de on Mar 29th, 2004, 11:44am Hi all, I am working on TSMC 0.25u RF process for my project. I am having some problem modeling the inductors for this process in Cadence Spiral Inductor modeler. I had created a model file using the information provided in the PDK. However, upon comparing the models generated by the Cadence modeler with the subcircuit for the charaterized inductors provided with PDK a large variation is observed, especially in the capacitanes across the series inductors, and the resistance to ground (reference). Has anyone here modeled inductors for TSMC0.25RF or any other process? Did you face such a problem, and if yes, could you please suggest a workaround. Also, what usually are the observed tolerances between the modeled and the fabricated inductors? Thanks and best regards, Saumitra |
