Title: Rise and Fall time Post by ramus12 on Nov 17th, 2004, 12:46pm hi, what is the ideal rise and fall time that can be specified in the cadence Spectre simulator using IBM 130nm technology? I am using inuts with the period of 1n, 2n, 4n etc. |
Title: Re: Rise and Fall time Post by ywguo on Nov 19th, 2004, 7:10pm Hi, When you are not confident on the transition time (rise time or fall time), you'd better drive your cricuit with a desired buffer. You should consider which cell will drive the input (data or clock input). Then use that cell to drive your circuit. So you needn't worry the rise/fall time. By the way, the transition time of 130nm technology must be much less than 1ns. Best regards, Yawei |
