Title: does low vth transistor have larger bandwidth? Post by river on Jan 6th, 2005, 6:56am in a differential buffer circuit, if we use low threshold voltage transistor pair, can we get larger bandwidth? |
Title: Re: does low vth transistor have larger bandwidth? Post by 101questions on Jan 9th, 2005, 1:30pm Depends. If low Vth allows you increase currents and vdsat, there is a good chance you buffer would be faster. Again, it depends on how you utilize the additional voltage headroom and if it can be used at all due to other restrictions. |
