Title: Generating a differential input in SPICE
Post by alfredo_p on Apr 7th, 2005, 6:05pm

;D

Hi,

Pardon my ignorance, but does anyone know how to generate a differential input signal to stimulate a differential amplifier and analyze its AC behavior in a SPICE simulation?

I've tried to apply a single-ended V AC input passed through an ideal  transformer to generate two signals that are opposite in phase. I am seeing decent amplification levels with this approach but I am uncertain about whether the inductance of the transformer would influence the frequency response of the amp.

Thank you very much!
