Title: Wire Color in Schematics
Post by uncle_ezra on Jun 21st, 2005, 5:10am

Hi,

How do you change the wire color in schematics? I am not sure how but all of a sudden my wire color became gray instead of blue (default). How do I change it back to the default color?

Thanks

Not really an Analog Design problem but rather an Entry Tool problem (different  forum).

If you're using IC5141, then you can select a wire, do
edit properties, and change the colour from the edit properties form.

If in earlier versions, then presumably all the colours have changed (i.e. all wire segments rather than just one). If this is the case, you probably have a display.drf file which is redefining the "wire" packet to be some different definition.

Regards,

Andrew.

But the funny thing is that if I open the same schematics in a different machine then the wire goes back to default.  So it doesnt seem to be a display problem.

Thanks

In that case you either have a different setup on the other machine (different installation perhaps, and so a different display.drf?), or perhaps one machine is set up with 8 plane graphics and so the colormap is overflowing?

Look at any warnings you get at startup about colormaps.

Andrew.
