I have updated the Forum to the latest version of the YaBB software. Please let me know of any problems you find.

This new version of the Forum adds several useful features. First and foremost is the ability to attach figures, but there is also the ability to enter Greek characters and math symbols into your posts.
The Greek characters are: ΑΒΓΔΕΖΗΘΙΚΛΜΝΞΟΠΡΣΤΥΦΧΨΩαβγδεζηθικλμνξοπρςστυφχψω
The math symbols are: ×÷∓∝≠≈≡≥≤≫≪→←↔∞√∂∇∫∮⊥∥∠∈∉⋮⋯⋱∅∴⋆∘•⋅∎

Let me know if they do not display correctly for you.

Ken - I am having problems in Netscape 7.0 with lines that don't wrap properly. Or rather, they wrap, but text after the wrap is not visible. In many cases, it appears that the post is one line (no typed carriage returns), but this is not always the case. Maybe there's a problem with the scrollbar code?

Can the scrollbars in the posts be disabled? It's a nice feature in the Topic Summary, but a nuisance when reading the thread.

Scroll bars in the post? I haven't noticed anything different in regards to scroll bars. Can you be more specific.

Ken -
I just fired up mozilla on Linux, and the scrollbars aren't there -- also, the vanishing line problem does not happen.
Mozilla 1.6 (Mozilla/5.0 rv: 1.6) for Sun is also fine.

With Netscape 7 (Mozilla/5.0 rv: 1.0.1) on Sun, the first post for the topic " non -idealities of PFD in verilogA" (http://www.designers-guide.org/Forum/YaBB.pl?num=1135204735) shows a scrollbar (as do many others).

The problem has been noticed by other users of the YaBB forum, but it does not appear to be widespread. It may be confined to the Netscape browser. I use Firefox 1.5 and it works fine.
