Title: Modeling Settling Time of OTA Post by packiaraj on Jan 3rd, 2006, 2:33am Hi Forum, Slewrate can be modeled by (Imax/Cc) maximum current limitation and Compensation Capacitance of OTA. But I am wondering how to model settling time which includes Slew Rate limitaion (Non-Linear portion - initial part of settling); Phase Margin at UGF, Parasitic poles and pole-zero doublet if any (Quasi Linear portion- later part of setlling) .......I want to see effect of these in Transient Simulation. Any idea or suggestion is most welcome. Thanks, -Packiaraj.V. |
Title: Re: Modeling Settling Time of OTA Post by Andrew Beckett on Jan 3rd, 2006, 9:34pm Only time for a quick answer... Have you looked at the Ideal/Non-Ideal opamp model in the Cadence "modelwriter" tool. This might be a good place to get some hints from, in the code it produces? Regards, Andrew. |
