Title: PSD Measurement of a 1-Bit Delta-Sigma Modulator
Post by BobDyl on Mar 9th, 2006, 2:47pm

Hi everyone,

As a question, what is the best way to maesure the output power spectrum of a 1-bit DS modulator and its quantization noise profile, with a low-frequency baseband? Can we use a simpe spectrum analyzer (SA) that has small RBW?  As a frame of reference, lets consider the input signal is well bellow 500Hz, RBW is 1Hz, SA has a BW of 0-1GHz, sasmpling clock is 200 kHz.

Thanks,
BobDyl
