Both simulators have the capability to simulate Verilog-A models,
Spectre definitely and for HSpice have a look at

Sometimes it helps to have a look at EDA Vendors Product information
published on their Websites.

I have a problem about simulating the verilog-a model in HSPICE(2005.09-SP1).
I run the verilog-a demo file in HSPICE directory, and an error message displays
** error **During Verilog-A Device processing: CML file does not exist

It seems that I lack the complier model library. How do I solve this problem?
Do I need to install any other program?

Thanks.

Do you have the hspiceva license?  The Verilog-A compiler only comes with some versions of HSpice; there is a "basic" version that does not have it.

Also ... you should be running hspice on a hspice-format netlist, with the proper command to include the Verilog-A file -- you can't run hspice on the verilog-a file itself.
