Is there any documentation summarizing high speed IO applications and the needs of high speed IOs?

Not a single one that I know of..
besides it would be out of date the moment it was written..

A wiki on this would be ideal..
it should cover
memory interface (FBD and the one from Rambus)
Video Inteface (ie HS?? from silicon image)
disc drive interface SATA
mother board PCI-X
LAN interface (Gigabit Ethernet)
External - HiSpeed USB
bluetooth
wimax
wifi
and lots I can't think of right now..
