*** Sr./Staff Analog Circuit Design Engineer ***

In this position, the individual will be responsible for working with NAND flash memory design team to bring to production advanced multi-level NAND flash memory. Will be responsible for designing, simulating, and debugging various analog circuits such as charge pumps, voltage regulators, temperature compensation circuits, on-chip power supply regulators. Work with the NAND flash design team to understand the requirements of the analog blocks and to ensure that the analog blocks meet the requirements of the full-chip. Developing the specifications of the analog block will be part of the responsibility. Will need to be hands-on and will also be responsible for debug and characterization of the analog blocks on silicon. Will need to understand various design trade-offs for design proposals of team members. Co-ordinate work with engineers from off-site design centers and with our joint development partner. Needs to be an excellent team player.

This position requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 7 years experience with at least 5 years of analog circuit design experience. Masters preferred. Course work in: Digital/analog circuit design (advanced), device physics, device processing. Experience in flash memory is a plus. Strong skills in analog circuit design and sound understanding of device physics and processing. Experience with charge pumps, voltage regulators, internal power supply generators, babdgap circuits is essential for the position. Good skills in manual parasitic extraction and in later phase of design to integrate RC extraction. Candidate should be fully experienced in using simulation tools (hspice, powermill, hsim) and CAD tools (OPUS for schematic/layout), CADENCE for post layout processing. Experience in designing 1.8V analog circuits is needed. Needs to have good understanding of interaction of design, device, reliability and process. Should have worked as part of a design team and needs to able to work well with others. Should have ability to take full responsibility of various analog circuit blocks and ability to work with product/test engineers to bring a product up for production.
